Exploring the Source and Course of the Jingpo Ethnic People

It is quite difficult to do researches on the development of the Jingpo civilization for there is no written language in the history of the Jingpo people.With folk oral culture and relevant historical records as the data sources,the article reviews the origin and migration of the Jingpo.Further,it traces the history of Jingpo from ancient times to the late Qing dynasty.Finally,it analyzes the historical division and social formation of the Jingpo ethnic group.
