Background:
Direct surgery is commonly selected for the treatment of cranio-cervical junction dural arteriovenous fistula and its outcome is more satisfactory than that of embolization. Intraoperative treatment evaluation is relatively easy in embolization, whereas in direct surgery it can be difficult.
