Drought-related impacts on water uses in North Alabama: an executive summary. Supplemental to Circular 127B

The availability of adequate supplies of water in terms of both quantity and quality is critical to north Alabama's continued economic growth and development, preservation and maintenance of its high-quality environment, and protection of the health and social well being of its residents. This summary provides an overview of the results and findings of a study to identify and determine the broad, general impact of water supply shortages on both offstream and instream water users in a 15-county area in north Alabama.
