A Study of Stochastic Epidemic Model with Genetic Susceptibility to Infection

Abstract A simple stochastic epidemic model involving genetic susceptibility to infection is proposed which incldues as a particular case, some simple stochastic epidemic models. A recursive procedure is given leading to a solution for the state probabilities at any point in time. A numerical example is made to explain the simplicity of the theory.
