Numerical simulation of a low-energy electron electrostatic integral spectrometer with adiabatic magnetic collimation
1985
Abstract Results are given of the numerical simulation of the electromagnetic field of a tritium beta-decay spectrometer as proposed previously in ref. [1]. It is shown that the use of an electrostatic analyzer in combination with a collimating magnetic field makes it possible to obtain a resolution of about 1 eV at the end point of the spectrum.
