Research on La/γ-Al_2O_3 Catalyst Modification and its Catalytic Reduction Desulfurization Activity

A set of desulfurization equipment for catalytic reduction of simulated flue gas is designed.Ce,Fe and Ti is used as modification agents to modify La/γ-Al2O3 catalyst by following step-by-step impregnation method.In the experiment, the desulfurization activity of catalyst before and after the modification at different reaction temperature is analyzed,so as to obtain the catalyst with high desulfurization activity and a lower reaction temperature.Experimental results show that the catalyst 9% La-3% Fe-5% Ce-0.8% Ti/γ-Al2O3 can remove up to 99.3% of SO2,at 420 ℃ of reaction temperature and this would create certain conditions for applying the technology in engineering practice as soon as possible.
