The invention discloses a ventricular assist device. The ventricular assist device comprises a driver, a blood pump and a magnetic field transmitting device, wherein the driver is located outside a human body, the blood pump can be mounted in a blood vessel of the human body, the magnetic field transmitting device is mounted in the human body and located outside the blood vessel, the magnetic field transmitting device is located between the driver and the blood pump, the blood pump comprises an impeller and a pump magnet for driving the impeller to rotate, the magnetic field transmitting device is provided with a transmitting magnet, the pump magnet and the transmitting magnet are permanent magnets, the driver can generate a first magnetic field in a direction facing the magnetic field transmitting device, the N pole and the S pole of the first magnetic field appear alternately, the permanent magnet of the magnetic field transmitting device rotates under the action of the first magnetic field and generates a second magnetic field acting on the pump magnet of the blood pump, and the pump magnet of the blood pump drives the impeller of the blood pump to rotate under the action of the second magnetic field. The ventricular assist device has the advantages that the defect that an artificial pump easily stops operation due to the magnetic control distance of an existing magnetic-drive ventricular assist device is short is overcome, the magnetic-drive control distance can be increased, and artificial pump operation stability can be increased.
