The construction of a large number of additional sidetracks small diameter allows to increase the coverage of the productive part of the reservoir, but leads to considerable complications in the oil, if the equipment will be lowered below the depth of drilling of the sidetrack. This option provides the ability to increase the depression on the layer and increase the production of the well. The main problem is the inability to accommodate many types of equipment in the lateral trunks of small diameter standard equipment. This is due to significant diametral and axial dimensions of equipment and high intensity of wear of the columns of rods and tubes. It is shown that for sidetracks small diameter with high rates of drift one of the most acceptable option is the jet pump installation. This is due to the small length and a small diameter borehole part of the installation. Another advantage of the jet pump installations is easy and fast changes in operating performance of the production system. Presents the calculation module software Autotechnology for selection of geometric figures jet pumps, the choice of interval depth for installation of the jet pump and the determination of operational parameters of the system «well - pumping unit». The design of in-situ installation of the jet pump, the composition of the downhole complex definitions of key operating parameters. Given information about the results of operation of the jet pump installed in the well with a side shaft of small diameter at LUKOIL-Perm LLC for more than 15 months. Installing jet pump continues to operate stably in the well with a side shaft of small diameter.
