Coplanar waveguide for microwave transmission and manufacturing method thereof

The invention relates to an overhead coplanar waveguide on a waveguide structural base plate for microwave transmission and a method for manufacturing the overhead coplanar waveguide on the base plate. The coplanar waveguide is provided with a central overhead transmission line and a front grounded metal layer, wherein the central overhead transmission line and the front grounded metal layer are supported by multiple supporting columns or multiple independent supporting columns. Base plate materials below the central overhead transmission line and the front grounded metal layer and base plate materials between the central overhead transmission line and the front grounded metal layer are removed so that microwave dielectric loss and chromatic dispersion can be reduced.
