Thermocycling effect on electrical resistance of V1-XFeXO2 system materials
2019
The article considers results of the study of the electrical resistance of V1-XFeXO2 (0≤x≤9) materials and ultimate composition before and after thermocycling. The thermocycling effect on the ratio of the elemental composition of materials has been studied. It was shown that after series of 50 thermal cycles for all samples, the oxygen content decreases markedly. It has been established that all materials have phase transition metal-dielectric (PTMD) in area ∼ 67 °C as before thermocycling as after it. It is proved that after thermal cycling, the jump in electrical resistance at PTMD is lower than that of the starting material.
