Study on Feedback Current Control of EPS Motor

The two types of EPS motor current control which were based on software and hardware were discussed. The PID control is mature, robust and widely used in motor control. In software feedback current motor control, combined EPS features, the PID princi-ple and the selecting of PID parameter were analyzed. The work frame diagram of the hardware feedback current control was ana-lyzed. And the circuit was designed. The subjective evaluation experiments show the hardware feedback current control works better if ECU is low speed.
