A Miniature Wide-band Phase-locked Loop Frequency Synthesizer

A miniature wide-band phase-locked loop frequency synthesizer was proposed in this paper.The PLL synthesizer integrated all function circuits including synthesizer chips with different frequency bands on a PCB sized less than 30 mm×20 mm.A wide bandwidth of 0.38 GHz to 4.91 GHz has been realized.The output power in the whole band is greater than 3.5dBm.The phase noise is less than-91dBc@1kHz,and spur suppression is greater than 76 dB.This design has flexible and expandable features,and could be used to further realize broader band or multi-band in a very small space.
