Organomagnesium compounds in diene polymerization

The data on the catalytic and cocatalytic activities of organomagnesium compounds in polymerization of dienes are reviewed. Some problems concerning the synthesis and state of these compounds in solutions and their use for preparing organometallic derivatives of a number of transition metals are considered.
