Method for registration and display web page in portable terminal

A method for registering and displaying a book mark of a web page in a portable terminal is provided to make it easy to move to a set area of a web page during a search of web pages, and to move immediately to set areas of the web page set by a user. A method for registering and displaying a book mark of a web page in a portable terminal comprises the following several steps. A controller recognizes a waiting state of the portable terminal(S301). The controller checks whether there exists a request for connection to a web server(S303). If so, the controller checks whether the connection is via an area set book mark(S305). If the connection is not via the area set book mark, the controller displays the requested web page(S307), and then checks whether there exists a request for registration of the area set book mark(S309). If so, the controller registers the web page set in a selected type as a book mark(S311), and terminates a connection to the web server(S313).
