Letter to the Editor A rare case of large mediastinal germ cell tumor detected by echocardiography

We describe a rare case of a large mediastinal germ cell tumor detected by modified views of transthoracic echocardiography. CTscanning and histological findings after tumor resection confirmed diagnosis. This case demonstrates the clinical importance of echocardiography in diagnosis of extra-cardiac masses.
