Unsymmetrical coordinated Ag(I)–olefin complex based on exo-7-oxabicyclo-[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylate: Synthesis, structure and electrocatalytical property

Abstract A silver(I)–olefin complex based on achiral exo -7-oxabicyclo-[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid (H 2 L) shows a 3-connected layer with {4.8 2 }-fes topology, in which unsymmetrical coordinated HL possesses chiral centers. The complex exhibits electrocatalytic activity for generating hydrogen from water.
