Theoretical Analysis of Sub-THz Gyro-Klystrons for Spectroscopic Applications

The paper is devoted to simulations of 0.263 THz gyroklystron which is aimed to be used for spectroscopic applications. Two regimes of operation were studied. In the first one the maximum of amplification gain achieves 35 dB with output power about 20 W and rather narrow amplification bandwidth of 0.7%. In the second regime the amplification gain is significantly low of 20–22 dB, while the bandwidth can be extended at least in two times.
