Infectious Vulvovaginitis in Adult Women in a Hospital in Dakar

We included 177 patients, a hospital frequency of 5.7%. The mean age was 33.68 years. 71.8% of the patients were married, and 9% had no sexual activity before. Sexual intercourse was only vaginal in 57% and genito-anal in 8.8%. Genital pruritus was present in 75% of cases and leucorrhoea in 73.4%.
