Multi-mode PCA-based FDD Methods
2020
In traction systems of high-speed trains, the traction control unit produces gate trigger pulses for the insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT) where different modes are obviously revealed. For example, based on the gate pulses, which are triggered according to strict time series, the traction system of CRH5 can be regarded as a switched system. Since signals in different modes have different statistical properties, the collected data set can be considered as a mixture data set. A unified single data model describing the characteristic of signals may lose information on local characteristics and may lead to unacceptable FAR and higher missing alarm rate (MAR). Motivated by this observation, the multi-mode data-driven modeling and FDD methods are desirable and will be investigated in this chapter.
