Effect of vitamin D on airway remodeling in asthma

Airway remodeling is not only an important pathophysiological feature of asthma, but also an important reason why asthma is difficult to cure. Studies have indicated that the level of vitamin D is related to the development of asthma. Vitamin D supplementation has positive effects in controlling the asthmatic symptoms.
