TECENDO A ESCRITURA — UMA ESTRANHA DISCIPLINA CHAMADA LABORATÓRIO DE CRIAÇÃO LITERÁRIA

This paper aims to tell a singular experience of literature teaching: the practice of creative writing. Maybe this kind of teaching is different from other kinds of academic teaching of literature, because, instead of talking about literature, the student is supposed to make literature. This experience, or these experiences, have been performed in the last ten years, in a discipline called Literary Creation Laboratory. The report presented here doesn’t have a properly academic, methodological, demonstrative character. Instead, it seeks to rememorate, although in a precarious manner, as any attempt to register memory in words is, some moments that marked these experiences, full of emotion and passion. Among the text, one can see the reproduction of some book covers, as well as samples of the students’ creativity in short texts like hai-kais, epigrams, micro short stories and small poems. This report, thus, aims to register, though in a precarious manner, an experience that was deeply marking for a lot of people, not only Letters students, but Philosophy, History, Cinema, and Arts students as well.Keywords: Artistic writing.
