RESEARCH ON THE INVESTIGATION OF MIDDLE VOCATIONAL NURSING STUDENTS' EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

[Objective] To investigate the emotional intelligence status of nursing students in middle vocational school.[Methods] 158 nursing students were investigated with questionnaires.[Results] The score of emotional intelligence was 3.60±0.52(1.82-4.82).The score of trainee nurses was significantly higher than that of the school students(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion] It was suggested the score of emotional intelligence was not high in middle vocational nursing students.Nursing students' emotional intelligence remains to be improved in nursing teaching.
