Preequilibrium particles and mean-field effects from particle-particle correlations in heavy-ion collisions☆
1990
Abstract Preequilibrium two-particle correlation functions at large relative momenta are shown to contain persisting mean-field effects at intermediate energies. These findings stem from simultaneous experimental and theoretical studies (using the Landau-Vlasov equation) of the systems 40 Ar + Au and Ar + Ti at E A = 60 MeV In the theoretical study are also included experimental data at lower energy ( E A = 25 MeV ) from other groups.
