A experiência de um casal de agricultores familiares na implantação do cultivo orgânico na comunidade Vila Vitoriana - Lima Duarte- MG

Faced with the emergence of producing food sustainably, agro ecological principles prove tobe the viable alternative to ensure sustainability in all aspects. One of the production systemswith agroecological approach is organic, which was the object of this experience report thataccompanied a couple of farmers in the transition process in the Victorian Village (Lima Vitoriana),Lima Duarte- MG. With a qualitative approach, data were collected at extensionistaction visits over a period of two and half years, and analyzed in the light of the theories ofALTIERE (2004) and GLIESSMAN (2008). The results elucidated positive points such as familywell-being and difficulties such as the difficulty of access to necessary inputs and the need fortraining and technical assistance. The final considerations bring the progress of work on thesite and reflection proposition on the practice of joint extension, ONG’s and public as a way tostrengthen the agro-ecological transition.
