Input Current Harmonics Suppression Control for PMSM Drive System Without Electrolytic Capacitor

2021
In order to improve the source power factor of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system without electrolytic capacitor, an input current harmonic suppression control strategy is proposed in this paper. First, the harmonic component of the source input current is obtained by subtracting the source input current after filtering from the source input current before filtering. Then, a proportional integral regulator is used to regulated the difference between the value 0 and the source input current harmonic component, and the absolute value of proportional integral regulator output is used to modify the inverter input power given waveform signal. The source input current harmonic component can approach to 0 by adjusting the parameters of proportional integral regulator in the input current harmonic suppression control strategy.
