Calculation Method of Fuel Consumption of Passenger Vehicle

For calculating fuel consumption of passenger vehicle accurately,based on the analysis of main influencing factors of passenger vehicle fuel consumption,the calculation methods of fuel consumption's sensitivity to curb weight and passenger weight were discussed,and the calculation method of correction coefficient of speed was given.By applying equilibrium theory of fuel consumption,the calculation model of fuel consumption about passenger vehicles under the basic driving conditions was built,and the calculation errors in different curb weights and speeds were analyzed accordingly.The presented model could consider the influence of air temperature and air pressure on fuel consumption,and get out of the disadvantage of the standard model that there are too much measurement parameters.It is more scientific and convenient than previous models of fuel consumption.
