Microstructure of helium-implanted Nimonic PE16

1987
Abstract Transmission electron microscopy has been used to investigate the microstructure in Nimonic PE16 after room temperature α-implantation followed by subsequent annealing. Helium bubble formation in the matrix, at dislocations, at grain boundaries and at precipitates of γ', M 23 C 6 , and MC type has been studied.
