One- and two-dimensional NMR techniques

2020
Abstract Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy provides detailed molecular level information on the structure and dynamics of molecules. The technique is routinely used in the field of small molecule drug therapeutic analysis and in recent years has been gaining acceptance in the arena of protein biopharmaceuticals. This chapter describes what NMR can bring to the biopharmaceutical scientist using practical approaches with helpful examples. Many simple NMR experiments yield a wealth of information that are unique and that can complement the results of commonly used methods for characterizing and analyzing biotherapeutics.
