A device for supplying an electronic circuit (8) with application of a clock signal (H) having a clock frequency (F) comprises: - a frequency actuator (6) adapted to generate the signal clock (H) in accordance with a set frequency (F) according to a control mechanism; - a control module (2) for selectively applying to the frequency actuator (6) a first set frequency or a second frequency set higher than the first set; and - an adaptation module (30) adapted to modify the regulating mechanism depending on the applied set point.
