Filme bearbeiten im netz: Projekt GigaMedia: Giga-Media-dienste fuer kooperative postproduktion von film und video (Edit movies on the internet: Project GigaMedia: Giga-media services for collaborative post-production of film and video)

In the DFN project, we investigate GigaMedia applications for cooperative post-production of film and video in the Gigabit Testbed infrastructure of the German research network. Applications include the distributed editing and compressing footage and the efficient and economical transfer of the resulting data.
