Application of control cement grouting in seepage control of earth-rock cofferdam

Combined with the successful experience in seepage control for the No.1 transverse earth-rock cofferdam of the downstream river course harnessing project of Longtan hydraulic complex,the earth-rock cofferdam of Zhongshanban hydropower plant on Nanpanjiang river,the upstream and downstream earth-rock cofferdams of Hongjiadu HPP on Wujiang river,the authors introduce the construction technique and methods of control cement grouting,and discuss the reliability and advantages of this new technique for seepage control of earth-rock cofferdam.
