The present invention relates to a medical device for performing a biopsy on a region (2) of a body under examination to (8) and a method of manufacturing the medical device. The medical device comprises at least three connecting elements (1) for attaching the device to the region (2) of the body (8) or for attaching the device to the anchoring elements, which are arranged at the region (2) of the body (8), a sleeve (3) as a guide for a medical instrument (6), and a connecting element (4), are protected by the at least three anchor elements (1) connected to the sleeve (3). At least the connecting element (4) is formed of a lightweight material.
