Frequency response analysis of Zn-Ni-Co alloy anode for thin film micro batteries

2020
Abstract The trinity Zn–Ni-Co alloy anode is inclined by electrodepostion methodology. The electrodes prevail inspected adopting X-ray diffraction (XRD), Frequency Response Analysis (FRA) and cyclic voltammetry. The electrochemical outcomes determine such effective Zn–Co–Ni alloy film conductor offers an efficiency of 0.070 A/dm2 comparing all the other compositions. The oxidation of both Zn2+ and Co2+ observed and apart from which, the oxidation of copper is also observed and which may be attributed to the porous nature of Zn/Co alloy coatings. The outcomes show such trinity Zn–Ni-Co alloy thin film conductor attained by means of electrodeposition displays a decent applicant anode element for lithium-ion batteries.
