Secure Estimation for CPSs via Sliding Mode

This chapter investigates the problem of secure state reconstruction for CPSs subject to both malicious attacks and unknown input. Firstly, CPSs are described as a discrete linear time invariant state space model. A parse vector is adopted to model malicious attacks, which can reflect its natural property well. Secondly, a sliding mode observer-based secure estimation algorithm is presented to simultaneously reconstruct the systems states, malicious attacks and unknown input signals. Thirdly, the convergence of the proposed secure estimation algorithm is analyzed, and corresponding conditions are derived.
