Southern ZZ Ceti Stars

We present, preliminary results of recent, observations of the low amplitude southern ZZ Ceti, MY Aps (= L 19-2) which confirm the inequality in the separation of the frequency triplet comprising the 192s oscillation seen in this star. This inequality is in reasonable agreement. with the calculation by Chlebowski of 2nd order effects in the removal of pulsation mode degeneracy by rotation. We also present an initial analysis of the frequency structure of a large amplitude southern ZZ Ceti, VY Hor (= BPM 31594).
