Improved Reliability ofSpectrum Sensing using Energy Detector inCognitive Radio System

We propose anovelstructure wheretheenergy detector hasmultiples ofverification usingtimedelay, in orderto improveitsperformance. Additionally, the performance isinvestigated bysimulation andcompared to thatoftheoriginal energydetector. Thesimulation result showsthattheproposed schemeimproves theperformance whenSNRiscompared withthemisdetection probability for both1% and 10% of falsealarmprobability.
