It is presented and emphasizing the importance of s upervision on the behavior of discrete event systems and a methodology for conduc ting monitoring based on the theory of invariant sites of Petri nets. The mo nitoring is done to ensure the system's behaviour based on observation of differen t states it reaches and in order to verify certain constrains. The theory of i nvariant places establishes the management of restrictions through linear inequalit ies and permit redesign systems based on a previous model without restricti ons.
