Опыт открытия новой бактериологической лаборатории в городе Люберцы Московской области

The data given were obtained as a result of the new bacteriological laboratory that was established and started to work in the town of Lyubertsy, Moscow region. As a result of the work done, more than 10 hospitals of the town of Lyubertsy were covered with the specialized microbiologic and serologic examinations. To forecast the efficiency of antibiotic therapy, administered to the patients at the department of intense therapy and resuscitation, the express method was introduced. The method was based on determining the antimicrobial activity of a patient's blood serum after antibiotics had been introduced. It allowed to improve the quality of treatment and to reduce its costs for the patients of the given category. The work of the laboratory has enabled to save about 800 thousand rubles within the fist year.
