The invention discloses a catapult type oxygen removal and dehydrogenation device for production of oxygen-free copper. The device comprises a head part, a pipe body, a sealing cover and a plurality of oxygen removal and dehydrogenation sub-units, wherein the head part is made of pure copper, and the outer surface of the head part is coated with a graphite layer; the pipe body comprises a pipe wall made of the pure copper and is connected with the head part, one end of the pipe body is open, an accommodating space is formed in the pipe body, and the graphite layer is coated on the periphery of the pipe body; the sealing cover is used for sealing the open end of the pipe body, and the graphite layer is arranged on the periphery of the sealing cover; the plurality of oxygen removal and dehydrogenation sub-units are accommodated in the accommodating space, and copper partition plates are arranged between the adjacent oxygen removal and dehydrogenation sub-units. The device disclosed by the invention has the advantages of convenience in putting, convenience in control of the diffusion speed of an oxygen removal and dehydrogenation agent and capability of realizing impurity removal treatment in the whole process by adding the oxygen removal and dehydrogenation agent once without adding the oxygen removal and dehydrogenation agent for multiple times, thereby reducing the chance of blending impurities into the surface of a copper liquid and improving an oxygen removal and dehydrogenation effect.
