Proliferation of Attenuated Duck Hepatitis Virus in Duck Embryo Kidney Cells

In this study the possibility of proliferation of duck hepatitis virus in duck embryo kidney cell were analyzed through the preparation of duck embryo kidney cell, cultured in vitro and the proliferation of duck hepatitis virus in the cell.The results showed that duck embryo kidney cell could be cultured in vitro; most of the cells were polygonal or fusiform.Duck embryo kidney cell could be used in proliferation of attenuated duck hepatitis virus A66, and the virus titer could reach 10-4.2/ 0.2 ml(ELD50). It indicated that duck embryo kidney cell was suitable for duck hepatitis virus proliferation and might be used to produce vaccines.
