Beacon Cluster-Tree Construction for ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4 Networks

2017
Abstract: In this chapter, we discuss sensor networks, an infrastructure composed of sensing, computing and communication elements that enable an administrator to observe and react to events and phenomena in a specified environment. This kind of network is characterized by low energy consumption, low rate and low cost. Applications based on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are growing every day, and they cover diversified application fields such as ambient assisted living, building automation and factory automation.
