The case study New demands for teacher training in the municipality of Santo Estevao - Bahia – Brazil, developed in the curriculum component Work and Education (EDU 314) in the State University of Feira de Santana (UEFS) graduation degree in Education, during the term 2015.1, left the following question: What are the teacher's professional demands egress of the graduation in Education teacher of the early grades of elementary school, UEFS Network, the city of Santo Estevao? Aimed population: four graduated students of that course, aimed to: identify the new demands of teacher training in the municipality of Santo Estevao - Bahia - Brazil; To check which technological changes and the quality of working life of graduates; to register as the course graduates demonstrate how the initial training contributed or contributes to their professional activities. Data were obtained through application of a questionnaire and interview. The results: the course graduates see their participation in the political process, in the social issues of the city and its contribution to the reorganization of the great school management, opportunities to demonstrate their skills as social agents and contribute to the municipal education. In addition to this contribution, there are graduates engaged politically in the material conditions of valorization of teaching. The graduates are aware of the new technological demands and continuing education needs, given that society is dynamic and undergoes constant transformations. They were aroused new questions about the quality of municipal education when examining the IDEB for school. Conclusion: We hope to contribute to the reflection on the demands of training and the implications of the use of technology in the workplace
