Analyzing Education Data Using GIS: Case of Tangier-Tetuan-Al Hoceima Region

Data analysis is a process of examining, purifying, converting and formulating data with the aim of discovering useful information, communicating conclusions and supporting decision-making. In this article, we explore the analysis and evolution of different school levels in the terms of pupils number. Using GIS tools and data analysis techniques, our goal is to study the dynamic change and disparity of diverse education dimensions in the demographic and geographic context. The analyses concerns the Tangier-Teuton-Al Hoceima (TTA) regional education sector over 14 years from the academic years 20032004 to 2016-2017. Data was collected, tabulated and cleaned. To analyse the data collected, we used GIS and jupyter notebook.
