Study on the Influencing Factors of Quality of Life in Postoperative Patients with Breast Cancer

Objective: Aim to investigate the influencing factors of postoperative quality of life with breast cancer patients in Xi'an, and to provide scientific basis for promoting the health of breast cancer patients and improving their quality of life. Methods: we used the cluster sampling method to select 181 breast cancer patients in Xi'an as case study, and used the breast cancer quality of life scale (FACT-B and V4.0) to investigate the data. The status of quality of life, status of social family, emotional status, functional status, breast cancer attachment and other dimensions of quality of life were selected as the dependent variables, and the variables of general demographic characteristics and disease characteristics were taken as independent variables to make multiple linear regression analysis, and established the different dimension of the multiple linear model respectively. Results: the factors which influencing the postoperative quality of life of patients with breast cancer were pain, marital status, family per capita annual income, and whether complications. Among them, the more obvious the pain feeling, the marriage is divorced, widowed and other unstable state, the family per capita annual income is low, with complications and other characteristics of breast cancer patients, the lower of quality of life score. In addition, the source of medical expenses is an important factor which affecting the physiological state of the factors, the results show that the quality of life becomes worse. The patients with lower emotional scores were accompanied by anxiety, negative feeling of the disease, did not participate in anti-cancer association, less physical exercise; The patients who have lower educational level and late clinical stage had lower functional status scores. Conclusions: we should increase the health investment, improve the awareness of breast cancer patients, make early breast cancer screening for married women, eliminate the negative psychological emotions of breast cancer patients, and participate in physical exercise actively. Above all were the effective measures of improving the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
