Sure Ducks: What I Learned in the Village

The Skyriver: Lower Yukon Project is now considered to be a pioneering use of film and video as tools to strengthen and enhance a village level community development process within and among Native Alaskan villages to create a direct exchange with government officials for the purpose of influencing their decision-making processes. This chapter reviews this longitudinal process and discusses some of the main lessons learned.
