System for sensing conductive liquid using cell type conductive liquid cable

2013
The present invention relates to a leakage sensing system using a cell type leakage sensing cable, which comprises a main body including a control unit (11) sensing a voltage signal induced from a cell type leakage sensing cable (20) in a film form, which directly senses the leakage state, and sensing the leakage state of a place and a location where the leakage sensing cable is installed, to generate leakage sensing information, and a communications unit (12) transmitting the leakage sensing information to a smart phone or various monitoring systems through a wired or wireless network; and the cell type leaking sensing cable (20) in a film form coated with a porous protective material excellent in insulation and absorption on an electric conductive material (carbon fiber or copper) forming a thin and narrow anode sensing the conductive leakage, and a conductive material forming a cathode (zinc or aluminum). According to the present invention, in case the cell type sensor cable does not contact with monitoring target liquid, a voltage is not applied so that electric safety (electric shock, EMI (electro-magnetic interference) and explosion proof) are secured compared to the conventional technology using a short method, and electricity consumption is drastically reduced. When leakage of various conductive liquid is sensed, a leakage state monitoring result is transmitted to a pre-installed apparatus (facility management systems or smart phones) so that a manager is able to instantly handle the state, necessary personnel is reduced, and human and physical loss due to the leakage is prevented.
