The invention discloses a backlight source and a backlight source system. The backlight source comprises a plurality of white lamps and a plurality of colored lamps. The white lamps are connected in series at second intervals in the second direction to form white lamp series sets. The white lamp series sets are connected in parallel at first intervals in the first direction. The colored lamps are connected in series at twofold second intervals in the first direction to form colored lamp series sets, and the colored lamp series sets are connected in parallel at twofold second intervals in the second direction. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction, and the distances between any colored lamp and the adjacent four white lamps are equal. The backlight source meets the requirement for night vision in a night working mode, and meets the high-brightness requirement in a daytime working mode.
