Sexual health in G.I.D. - a multidisciplinary approach

Sexual health “physical and emotional” is one of the important aspects of well-being of person with gender identity disorders. The aim of this report is to give a brief description of the development of multidisciplinary approach to the area of sexual relationship. The team consist of psychologists, endocrinologist and andrologists. Clinical experience confirms that the support in this area is crucial for patients to the improvement of their self-esteem, relation in the couple, in the family of origin and in the social group. Sexual health is also one of the most significant elements for elegibility in RCS.
