The elastic scattering of deuterons by vanadium

Abstract The 51 V(d, d) 51 V elastic scattering has been studied at incident energies of 8–10.5 MeV with a 24-channel magnetic spectrograph. Angular distributions over the range 12°30′ to 175° (L.S.) have been measured. The experimental results are compared with several calculations based on the optical model.
