Attachment to a PU-1 universal polarograph for automatic compensation of total resistance in a working electrode circuit

This paper describes circuitry designed for controlling the electric conductivity and capacitance and hence the stability of an electrolytic cell and the attendant measuring circuitry used in the polarographic determination of the heavy metal content of industrial waste water. Test results and the implementation of the circuitry for over a year now indicate that it substantially improves the accuracy and precision of the polarograph.
